1) Use a pot with 3 cm of water, a slotted spoon, a glass of cold water, a mirror and a stopwatch.
2) Bring the pot of water to the boil.
3) Place the mouthguard in the pot for 90 seconds.
4) Remove the mouthguard from the water and let it cool for 60 seconds.
5) Looking in the mirror, fit the mouthguard to your upper teeth by clenching your teeth tightly. 6) Suck and press the center of the mouthguard for 5 seconds.
7) Suck and squeeze the edges of the mouthguard for 55 seconds.
8) Remove the mouthguard from your mouth and place it in cold water for 10 minutes.
9) Place the mouthguard in your mouth and make sure it fits securely and comfortably.
10) If the mouthguard is not comfortable or does not stay in place without slipping, wait a few minutes and then repeat the process.
11) Only if necessary, use a pair of scissors to carefully cut off small excess pieces.
